Nigeria moves up to 28 on FIFA ranking

 The super eagles of Nigeria have moved with 14 steps to 28 position on the FIFA ranking according to the latest placement realesed on Thursday 2024.

This comes after their impressive performance at the recently concluded African Cup of National which took place in Ivory Coast where Nigeria finished on position 2.


The latest move makes Nigeria number three in Africa only behind Morocco and Senegal. 


according to FIFA ranking top 10 of Africa teams are Morocco 12, Senegal 17, Nigeria 28, Egypt 36, Ivory Coast 39, Tunisia 41, Algeria 43, Cameroon 51 and south Africa 59

FAM APPOINTS 120 ELITE REFEREES FOR 2024 SEASON

 The Football Association of Malawi referees standing committee has appointed 120 referees for 2024 elite  competition . The number of referee's has increased with 17 compared to 2023 season.  The list includes 17 2024 FIFA approved referees and other 103 local elite referees, 45 (42 males and 4 females) are center referees while 56 males and 19 females are assistant referee
